Thermalwood Wood Panels

ThermalWood Wood Panels

Thermally modified wood is a hardwood that has been modified by a controlled pyrolysis process of wood being heated (> 180 °C) in absence of oxygen inducing some chemical changes to the chemical structures of cell wall components (lignin, cellulose and hemicellulose) in the wood in order to increase its durability.

Improved weather resistance and improved dimensional stability make heat treated wood a great product for exterior and interior cladding applications & other decking needs close to water, such as pools and waterfront, beachfront or any other property that has humidity issues.

With many options like Maple, Birch or Ash to choose from, ThermalWood offers the best natural facade solution.

  • Improved dimensional stability
  • Eliminates the risk of decay and damage caused by insects
  • Uniform darker coloration throughout the lumber
  • Green alternative
